Review: Broken Prince (Royals Book 2) by Erin Watt

*The is book 2 in the Royals Series.  It is not a standalone so be sure to read Book 1 Paper Princess first.  Click here for my review of Paper Princess.

Blurb:
These Royals will ruin you…

From wharf fights and school brawls to crumbling lives inside glittery mansions, one guy tries to save himself.

Reed Royal has it all—looks, status, money. The girls at his elite prep school line up to date him, the guys want to be him, but Reed never gave a damn about anyone but his family until Ella Harper walked into his life.

What started off as burning resentment and the need to make his father’s new ward suffer turned into something else entirely—keep Ella close. Keep Ella safe. But when one foolish mistake drives her out of Reed’s arms and brings chaos to the Royal household, Reed’s entire world begins to fall apart around him.

Ella doesn’t want him anymore. She says they’ll only destroy each other.

She might be right.

Secrets. Betrayal. Enemies. It’s like nothing Reed has ever dealt with before, and if he’s going to win back his princess, he’ll need to prove himself Royally worthy.

Review:
This book is so good that I couldn't put it down.  This is book 2 in the Royal series and it is not a standalone.  Like the previous book, it does end in a shocking cliffhanger.

One of the things that I liked about this book is unlike The Paper Princes, it is told from a dual POV.  I enjoyed getting get a glimpse into Reeds thoughts and feelings.  We continue to learn about more lies and secrets and see just how troubled the Royal brothers area.  I enjoyed learning more about each fo the characters and watching how things evolve with Reed and Ella.  Ella is a runner, but she continues to be a strong character.  I always love a broken bad boy and Reed is exactly that. With more secrets getting revealed and further character development, this book kept me entertaining until the very end.   I cannot wait to see where the author takes us in the next book!
