Review:

4.5 Stars. I really enjoyed this book - the characters, the storyline, the twists and turns . . .  Told from a dual POV, we meet the Confidence and Hayes in this contemporary romance novel. I couldn’t help but love Confidence she is just that - confident as well as passionate about and fights for what she believes in. She is perhaps one of the strongest heroines that I have read about in a while. Hayes is your rich, good looking hero who was jaded from a previous relationship, but he is striving to be a better man and to make things right with his family’s legacy.  Both characters are very likable and well developed.  They have great strengths, but they also admit to their flaws which makes them seem more real.  The chemistry between then is sizzling.  The two are perfect compliments to each other and together, they are quite the powerhouse.

The Legacy has a bit of drama, some surprising twists and turns, and a shocking, unexpected revelation  - all of which make this book entertaining until the very end.  It reads at a good pace with no parts that drag.  The author does a great job discussing the ramifications of natural disasters that are not often portrayed in the media and how that affects those who are invisible. I really enjoyed the epilogue at the end and I am looking forward to this author’s next book.  I received this book as an ARC and I voluntarily leave this review.
