New Release and Book Review: His Package by Penelope Bloom

His Package
Penelope Bloom
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Series: Objects of His Attraction

Synopsis:
His package ended up inside my box.
Calm down, perv. My mailbox.
As soon as I saw what was inside,
I knew two things:
It belonged to my hot neighbor, and he had a dirty secret.

Normally, I’m more of a cat person. As in, if I had to choose who lives, I’m going to take the cat nine times out of ten. It’s not that I particularly like cats, I just don’t particularly like most people.

My neighbor wasn’t most people. He lived in the apartment across the hall, so I had plenty of opportunities to glare at him throughout the week. He never noticed, which always made me want to glare even harder.

He was your typical, buttoned-up, fancy shoes, smells like a Calvin Klein commercial, looks like he actually flosses kind of guy. I mean, seriously? Wasn’t flossing just made up by dentists so they could go on their little power trips once every six months?

The point was, this guy very obviously had his life all put together. He was Mr. Perfect, and If you asked me, he needed to be brought down a few pegs to wallow with the rest of us.

Cue his long, thick, package penetrating my tight little mailbox.

I know. It’s absolutely sick. It was such an obvious ploy to hit on me. Forget the fact that the mail lady put it there, my neighbor and I both knew what kind of game he was playing. Oh yeah, totally knew. It was on. It was in, if you would.

I opened the package--mostly by accident--and his dirty little secret was staring me right in the face. It turns out Mr. Perfect wasn’t so perfect, after all.

Review:
5 stars This hilarious new romantic comedy, His Package, is book 4 in Penelope Bloom’s Objects of Attraction series and it can be read as a standalone. This book had me in stitches and nearly snorting coffee out nose with Lilith’s antics and the sexual play on words.  In this author’s previous book in the series, His Treat , I was intrigued by Lilith’s dark, sarcastic personality so I was thrilled that she got her own book.  She is a rather unique heroine - a bit dark and no one would ever mistake her for a person with a bubbly personality who likes people. It is because of interesting personality, that I loved her.  Liam is a hard-working, billionaire who has a secret. He is intrigued by Lilith - a little scared of her at first, but he loves to see her opening up to him. He is kind and loving and would be the perfect boy friend. I love the witty banter between as well as their steamy scenes together.

I enjoyed seeing return of some secondary characters from the author’s previous novels in the series - especially the humorous William!-As well as the introduction of Price and Kade. Celia, Liam’s step-sister, was the ultimate villain and integral to the storyline. His Package  is told from a dual POV which I think was appropriate for this book. Overall, I really enjoyed this His Package.  I love all of the euphemisms she is able to come up. This was an entertaining romantic comedy that moved at a good pace, had great characters, and lots of humor. I really hope that this author continues to write books in this series. I received this book as an ARC and I voluntarily leave this review.

About the Author:

I'm so proud and extremely thankful to my readers for making me a USA Today Bestselling author and Amazon top 10 best selling author!

I love writing romances that I'd want to live in. I like my men with a mind as dirty as sin, a bit of an attitude, and a heart of gold they try to keep hidden away. I absolutely love writing about BDSM, but it's not featured in all of my stories. Check the bottom of my bio for a super quick breakdown of my books and which one might suit your style.

I stepped away from my job as a high school teacher to pursue my dream of writing in October of last year. Writing had always been my dream, but it took having my two beautiful daughters to push me to follow through with it. I wanted to be able to show my girls that nothing is impossible. No dream is too big. No matter what anyone tells them.

They just have to look at their mommy to see it. Being a positive example for my girls is worth all the late nights, doubts, and fears that come with being a writer. I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Whew! Look at me getting emotional over here. It's just an author bio, Penelope!
