She was mine.
Mine. Mine. Mine.

The future finally started to brighten up for me.
Memories of the past didn't belong in my life.
The nights held nightmares, but I learned to deal with them.
Until he showed up, once again shattering any peace I had.

In the hopes of destroying Sociopath, my enemies hurt and used my only weakness.
My Sapphire.
The time had come for my ultimate revenge, so those who wronged us would answer for every scar and pain they’d inflicted.

4 Stars Sociopath’s Revenge is Book 2 of the Sociopath duet.  Book one (Sociopath’s Obsession) must be read first to avoid spoilers and for the book to make sense.  As with all V.F. Mason’s books, I loved Sociopath’s Revenge.  I fell in love with the dark, cold, protective, and yet loving Sociopath in book 1.  This book is written as a dark romance and it picks up right where book 1 ended.  Sapphire remains a survivor who is resilient and strong as she strives to protect her daughter and stay in hiding.  Even though Sociopath and Sapphire were separated for years, they are still tethered by that unbreakable bond. Dominic is similar to his brother with the darkness, a thirst for vengeance, and his obsession with a woman.  He is another one of those characters that you love to hate.  All three are caught in a web of suspense, action, intrigue, as well as twists and turns.  Sociopath’s Revenge is told mainly from 3 POVs- Sociopath’s (Damian), Sapphire’s, and Dominic’s. I also enjoyed the introduction of the secondary characters of Rose, her father Don, and part of the Russian mafia as well as the further development of Connor.  If you have read Pakhan’s Rose, you will see a few repeated scenes from other’s POV.

About the Author:
V.F. Mason always loved reading books and had quite a few fights with her momma over the genre she liked (romance, duh!) She studied filmmaking and thought that would feed her desire for stories, but that didn’t happen. Finally, when she was tired of all those voices in her head, she sat down and wrote a book. It was a huge decision to make and she thanks her friends and family for supporting her in it. When she is not writing, she can be found with her friends doing all sorts of crazy things or reading recent romance books that were written by her favorite authors.
