To say that I love this phenomenal rockstar romance is an understatement and I hope that this review does the book justice! Limitless put me through a roller coaster of emotions and Jace & Alex’s story is truly something special.  I was so immersed in this tantalizing, engaging, and sexy romance that I was loathe to put it down to do things like sleep and eat. It is difficult to believe that Limitless is only this author’s second book as her talented storytelling captured my attention immediately and her writing continues to wow me with the expertly executed story complete with well developed characters and a well flushed out plot. Limitless will leave you laughing, crying, swooning, more crying, dreamily sighing along with fanning yourself as these two characters embark on their journey!

If you happened to have read Endless, the first book in the Less Than Zero series, then you know that this author taunted us with Alex and Jace’s  shenanigans that alluded to the possibly that these two were entangled in some type of relationship. I liked their characters in Endless, but I really fell in love with each of them in this book.

Jace is the scrumptious drummer that captured the Alex’s attention the first time she laid eyes on him; back when LTZ was an up and coming band.  Jace and Alex spend unforgettable night together, but the timing isn’t right.  Neither one are looking for a relationship as each of their lives are headed in different directions.  What they didn’t expect was for that night to blossom into friendship. Leaving a huge imprint on each other’s hearts, their burgeoning feelings highlight the questions of “is this lust or love?“ and “can love can conquer all things?”  Their’s an emotional journey and I enjoyed not only witnessing the evolution of Alex and Jace’s relationship, but also experiencing the band’s history and gaining popularity to ultimate success. There are a lot of ups and downs full of angst, intense chemistry (with some really hot scenes!), and also deep-seated love. Their connection is intense - etching itself into the fiber of their beings.

Jace is an immensely talented drummer and social media guru that helped catapult LTZ to super stardom.  He is a steadfast friend and admirably loyal to his bandmates.  He is the steady one.  The calm one. The voice of reason.   Yet what happens when his life is thrown into a tailspin?  I am already staking claim that he is my book boyfriend as this romantic and caring man stole my heart.  Alex is a gorgeous, alluring, independent, and vibrant woman who has this magnetic personality. I positively adored her and she is the type of person that I would love to have in my corner. Both are kind hearted souls with big dreams and ambitions and it was no wonder these two were drawn towards each other.

I would be remiss if I did not mention the secondary characters in this novel. Getting to learn more about the band members was very entertaining and I enjoyed the camaraderie amongst them.  Limitless is, in theory, a standalone novel, but some of the storyline runs along the same timeline as Endless. This gives a fun and unique view into Ty and Zoey, but won’t necessarily spoil Endless if you have yet to read it.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this angsty, emotional, and very HOT rockstar romance.  The writing is brilliant, the story is interesting, and the characters are likable.  I voluntarily read an early version of this book.  All thoughts are entirely my own.
