I am an avid book reader with my favorite genres including romance, romantic comedies, romantic suspense, paranormal/fantasy, YA/NA, and mysteries. My favorite romance tropes are dark romances, enemies-to-lovers, friends-to-lovers, rockstar romances, sports romances, mafia romances, and taboo romances just to name a few. When I am not devouring a book, I spend my days eating bon-bons while taking bubble baths & sipping a glass, er bottle of wine in addition to caring for my spunky daughter who has special needs.
Be sure to check out my Favorite Authors link at the top of this blog as I continually update the list as I discover more authors.
Curious about how I determine the number of stars I give a book? Check out this link here.
I am currently accepting review requests for the following types of novels:
I post my reviews to this blog, Anna's Bookshelf Facebook page, Amazon, Goodreads, Bookbub, and any other retail sites that your book may be available on. Please include in your review request the following: the title, genre, blurb or general concept, and when you would need to review by.
Amazon sometimes takes great pleasure in holding my reviews for hostage for about 2-3 days. It is a great mystery as to why Amazon may post my review within minutes vs days and I know that is frustrating for not only myself, but also for you authors. If the review has not shown up on Amazon within 48 hours, I will contact you to let you know and will get the review link to you asap.
I have experience Beta reading and I typically take about 3 days to provide feedback for a full-length novel. You can also find my reader profile on BetaBooks.
Authors that I've Beta read for:
Lizzie A. Williamson
Amy J. Heart
Did you know that I have another blog? The Chronicles of Ellie Bellie Bear is about my daughter who has Down syndrome and some random medical issues. My posts include parenting a child with special needs, Ellie's antics (she's a sassy pants), and medical issues as both a parent and as a former pediatric nurse practitioner. My medical posts are not meant to take the place of medical advice from a health care provider.
